National Day of Accountability
The National Day of Accountability is a day signifying the obligation for all of us to hold ourselves and others accountable. By signing this Declaration, you are committing to more conscious accountability – today and year-round.
The significance of the date (9/29) is aligned with the nine minutes and twenty-nine seconds George Floyd was deprived of oxygen at the will of someone who was not held accountable for his actions. We, as a society, must do a better job of standing up, speaking out, and showing action that is aligned with a more united, just, and equitable society.
