US2 Consulting is seeking a Training Engagement Specialist to support our team. You will support the team with training both our internal and external team members. You’ll need an understanding of social justice and equity initiatives, training protocols, strong presentation techniques, content development, and a commitment to a mission-driven business framework. You also need to be well-organized, timely, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task, when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Create communications strategies and plans to ensure all employees are fully aware of organizational policies and procedures, specifically related to training and consulting
- Develop content and work alongside the team to establish effective materials that align with our brand and mission
- Create, manage, and contribute to organization-wide programs such as leadership development, management development, employee engagement programs, talent and retention efforts, and performance management
- Collaborate with consultants while monitoring and managing their work
- Develop and maintain relationships with the team to establish priorities, consult on initiatives, provide status reports, and drive alignment
- Contribute to the development of strategic and operational plans and budgets for learning and development projects and initiatives
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends to identify future growth opportunities
- Serve as the training point-person on projects, applying best-practices to facilitation and content development
- Participate in developing programmatic goals and systems
- Demonstrate strong leadership and influence management skills
Requirements:
- 1-2 years’ experience within content development, teaching, leadership, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in the virtual work environment
- Excellent knowledge and aptitude of MS Office Suite (including Teams) and online platforms (SuiteDash preferred)
- Exemplary planning and time management skills; Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload while meeting deadlines
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment; Self-starter mindset with the ability to ‘manage up’
- Working knowledge of best-practices within teaching and learning
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience using a PM (Project Management) system
- Ability to think big picture and connect various data points to help formulate a conclusive opinion on subject matter
- Strategic mindset and highly creative thinker with sound judgment
- High level of verbal and written communications skills
- Professional presence through both phone and email communication
- Ability to be flexible during company growth
- Ability to research and gather information on broader industry level data
